SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>Taiwan’s CPC Corp has increased the operating rate of its 385,000 tonne/year No 4 naphtha cracker in Linyuan by 10 percentage points to 90% capacity for October, following a drawdown in the company’s downstream butadiene (BD) inventories, a company official said on Thursday.
The company was operating the No 4 cracker at a reduced 80% capacity from mid-September to end-September, down from the previous 100% because of high BD stocks, the official added.
