HOUSTON (ICIS)--INEOS ABS will conduct a maintenance turnaround at its acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) plant in Addyston, Ohio, in mid-November, sources confirmed on Friday.

The turnaround at the 190,000 tonne/year ABS plant is scheduled to take 10 days, sources confirmed.

The plant had a 14-day maintenance turnaround in November 2011.

The ABS producer will build inventory in advance of the shutdown to fulfil orders it has at the time and some additional material for its standard products, sources said.

North American producers of ABS include INEOS ABS, Network Polymers, SABIC Innovative Plastics, Styrolution and Styron.
