The plant was shut down two weeks ago because of technical difficulties, the source added.
"We initially shut down due to sudden technical issues, but we are now using it [the shutdown] to improve our plant run rates," the source noted on the sidelines of the 46th annual European Petrochemical Association (EPCA) meeting.

However, the source said the plant could produce up to 400,000 tonnes per year, and added that the plant run rates would improve in the second half of October.
“Today, we are producing at 70% of capacity [but] we hope to increase it to 85-90% in the second half of October,” the source said.
