India’s MRPL sells H1 Nov naphtha cargo at $35/tonne premium

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has sold by tender a 35,000 tonne naphtha cargo for loading in the first half of November, traders said on Monday.

The deal was done at a premium of $35.00/tonne (€26.95/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board), with loading on 7-9 November from a port in New Mangalore on the West Coast of India, traders said.

MRPL has issued a tender to sell a 35,000 tonne cargo of naphtha for loading from New Mangalore on 13-15 November. The tender closes on 10 October and bids will stay valid until 11 October.

In its previous tender, MRPL sold a similar-sized cargo of naphtha to Japanese trading house Marubeni at a premium of $37.00/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB for loading from New Mangalore on 29-31 October, traders said.
