SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Ellba Eastern (Pte) Ltd has declared a force majeure on supply of styrene monomer and propylene oxide, following an unexpected shutdown at its Singapore plant over the weekend, according to a document obtained by ICIS on Tuesday.
The force majeure took effect on 7 October, the company said in a notification sent to customers, citing a “mechanical breakdown” at its SM/PO plant in ?xml:namespace>
