SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>China’s Sinopec Jinan is expected to achieve on-spec base oil production at its expanded 150,000 tonne/year plant at Jinan in Shandong province in late October, a company source said on Tuesday.
The company restarted its base oil plant in early October after upgrading and expansion, a delay from the original schedule of September, the source added.
The restart of the Jinan plant will have limited impacts on the overall market as most of its outputs are kept for captive use, traders said.
Sinopec Jinan’s base oil plant mainly produces Group II N150 and N500 products and Group I BS150 grades. By: Whitney Shi+65 6780 4359
