Germany's BASF, Euroresins cooperating in sale of epoxy systems

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--German chemicals major BASF and Euroresins Europe are cooperating in the sale of epoxy systems for composite materials in Europe, the two firms said on Tuesday.

Euroresins will distribute the BASF systems into various applications such as in shipbuilding, transportation and construction, they said in a joint statement.

“The distribution agreement between both companies will initially target the German market and is to be extended step by step to other European countries in which Euroresins is active,” the firms added.

BASF offers epoxy systems for the production of fibre reinforced composites under the Baxxodur brand they said.

Financial details of the sales agreement were not disclosed.
