South Korea’s LG Chem buys 75,000 tonnes naphtha for November

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korean chemical company LG Chem has bought three cargoes of naphtha totalling 75,000 tonnes for delivery in November, traders said on Wednesday.

Two of the cargoes were purchased at a premium of $11.00-12.00/tonne (€8.60-9.40/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight) for delivery in the first half of November, they added.

The deal for the remaining cargo was done at a premium of $13/tonne to Japan quotes CFR for delivery in the second half of November, traders said.
