SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>China’s Shandong Weihai Hengbang Chemical plans to restart its 300,000 tonne/year diammonium phosphate (DAP) plant in Shandong province, east China at the end of October, a company source said on Wednesday.
The unit was taken off line for maintenance on 29 September before the week-long National Day holiday in China, and the shutdown will last for about one month, the source added.
“The company halted production as a result of weak demand from the domestic market,” the source said.By: Jody Pond
