LONDON (ICIS)--Here is Thursday’s midday European oil and chemical market summary from ICIS.

CRUDE: November WTI: $91.84/bbl, up 59 cents/bbl. November BRENT: $115.13/bbl, up 80 cents/bbl
Crude oil futures gained on Thursday on the back of rising tensions between Turkey and Syria. Turkish authorities intercepted a plane flying between Moscow and Damascus because of fears that it was carrying weapons to Syria.

NAPHTHA: $989-991/tonne, down $3/tonne
The cargo range edged down from Wednesday afternoon as a result of a slightly softer crack spread. November swaps were assessed at $961-963/tonne.

BENZENE: $1,260-1,300/tonne, up $15/tonne on the sell side
Offers for October moved up to $1,300/tonne as oil and energy numbers edged higher. November bids were at $1,240/tonne but not met with any offers.

STYRENE: $1,620-1,660/tonne, up $15-20/tonne
October continued to move up in line with benzene this morning. November bids were at $1,605/tonne following a deal at that level yesterday. The range was later valued at $1,605-1,650/tonne.
