SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Oil major ExxonMobil plans to restart its 1.2m tonne/year Group II base oil plant at Jurong Island in Singapore in the second half of October, an industry source in China said on Thursday.

The company shut the plant in mid-September for a routine turnaround, the source said, adding that commercial supply has remained at normal levels during the shutdown.

ExxonMobil’s Singapore Group II base oil plant primarily produces N150 and N500 grades.
