Taiwan's Ming Dih to expand Thailand EPS capacity in Q2 2013

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>Taiwan’s Ming Dih Group plans to increase the capacity of its expandable polystyrene (EPS) facility in Thailand in the second quarter of next year, a company source said on Thursday.
The unit, located in Bangkok, currently has a capacity of 30,000 tonnes/year.
“The unit will be expanded by 10,000 tonnes, bringing its total capacity to 40,000 tonne/year,” the source said.
The company also operates a 180,000 tonne/year EPS plant in Taiwan and a 100,000 tonne/year unit in southern China.
