SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Argex Titanium will conduct a feasibility study on a proposed titanium dioxide (TiO2) first-module production facility in ?xml:namespace>
The company will work with engineering firm Genivar Inc on the feasibility study, which will establish the economic viability and capital requirement of the proposed TiO2 project, Argex said in a statement.
“Upon completion of the study, we will be in a position to evaluate major partnership opportunities, and engage in detailed construction engineering work and start hiring suppliers,” the company said.
The feasibility study will be undertaken months after separate TiO2 grade sensitivity tests were successfully conducted by the company.
No definite timeline was provided for the completion of the TiO2 project.
Argex had recently transitioned from a mining exploration company into a commodities producer, as part of its corporate restructuring.
