Russia's Acron reports higher ferts output in Jan-Sept 2012

MOSCOW (ICIS)--Acron’s overall fertilizer production was largely up in the first three quarters of 2012, the Russian fertilizer producer said on Friday.

In the January-September period, Acron produced 1.99m tonnes of nitrogen fertilizers, up 11% year on year, while its ammonia output reached 1.34m tonnes, an increase of 3% up year on year.

However, the company’s production of mixed fertilizers was 1% down year on year at 1.9m tonnes, it added.

Acron holding controls OAO Acron, based in Novgorod region, northern Russia, and OAO Dorogobuzh based in Smolensk region, central Russia, as well as China's Acron-Hunzhi, based in Shandong province.
