HOUSTON (ICIS)--Maintenance activities were underway at Shell’s Deer Park refinery in Texas, the company said on Friday.
However, a company spokesperson did not specify which units were involved.
“Equipment maintenance is planned well in advance, regularly reviewed and coordinated with our needs to supply customers and to keep our equipment running in a safe manner,” said Shell’s Kayla Macke.
Earlier, Shell reported hydrogen sulphide release at the 340,000 bbl/day complex, according to a filing with state pollution regulators.
