Industries Qatar's Jan-Sept net profit up 7% to $1.83bn

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Industries Qatar’s net profit rose by 7% year on year to Qatari riyal (QR) 6.66bn ($1.83bn) in the nine-month period ending 30 September this year as sales grew by 13%, the company said over the weekend.

The company’s revenue totalled QR14.2bn in the January-September period of this year, according to the financial statement the firm filed with the Qatar Exchange on Sunday.

Its gross profit rose by 11% year on year to QR7.53bvn in first nine months of this year, it added.

The company did not provide its third-quarter figures in the statement.

Businesses under Qatar Industries’ group of companies include Qatar Fertilizer Company (Qafco) and Qatar Petrochemical Co (QAPCO).
