SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sinopec Maoming restarted its 250,000 tonne/year low density polyethylene (LDPE) line at its Maoming plant in Guangdong province on 14 October, a company source said on Monday.
The LDPE line was shut for 6 days from 8 October, the source added.
The company was running the line at 95% capacity, the source said.
Some market players said that an increase in LDPE supply in South China may have some impact on its prices.
