Korea Alcohol to restart Ulsan etac/butac unit on 27 Oct

MELBOURNE (ICIS)--South Korean producer Korea Alcohol Industrial plans to restart its 85,000 tonne/year ethyl acetate (etac)/butyl acetate (butac) swing plant in Ulsan on 27 October following a scheduled overhaul, a company official said on Tuesday.

The plant was shut on 13 October to undergo annual maintenance.

Korea Alcohol is South Korea’s sole producer of etac and butac.
