SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Qinghai Kunlun Alkali Industry plans to shut its 1m tonne/year soda ash unit at Haixizhou in Qinghai province on 19 October for a three-day scheduled maintenance, a company source said on Thursday.
The shutdown will result in output loss of soda ash of about 8,000 tonnes in October compared with the output in September, according to the source.
The company is running the plant at 100% of capacity in October before the maintenance.
