SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Xinjiang Land Fine Petrochemical has shut its 50,000 tonne/year polybutadiene rubber (BR) plant at Karamay in Xinjiang in northwest China on 17 October for regular maintenance, a company source said on Thursday.

The plant is scheduled to be shut for 15 days, but there will be little impact on the Chinese BR market, the source said.

Xinjiang Land Fine Petrochemical produces and sells lubricants, fine chemicals, and chemical and plastic materials.
