China’s Yunnan Yunwei runs Qujing BDO plant at 50-60% of capacity

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Yunnan Yunwei is currently running its 25,000 tonne/year 1,4-butanediol (BDO) plant in Qujing at 50-60% of capacity, a company source said on Thursday.

The plant in Yunnan province was restarted on 16 October after completing maintenance, which began on 9 October, the source said.

Domestic BDO prices in China were assessed at CNY15,600-16,300/tonne ($2,492-2,604/tonne) on Thursday, according to Chemease, an ICIS service in China.
