SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Co (YPC) has reduced its solvent oil production to around 1,000 tonnes for October from its normal monthly level of 2,000-3,000 tonnes because of feedstock shortage, a company source said on Friday.
The company is now limiting its supply of the material to China’s eastern regions and has halted supply to southern markets, according to the source.
The southern regions are expected to see its supply tightness deteriorating, traders also said.
