LONDON (ICIS)--European acrylonitrile (ACN) October contract prices have settled at a reduction of €20/tonne ($26/tonne), buyers and sellers said on Friday.

The fall was the result of a drop in feedstock propylene October contract prices.

The October propylene contract price was agreed down €20/tonne.

An initial ACN settlement was agreed on Friday 12 October, with further support received this week. The settlement was in line with expectations.

The European October ACN contract settled at a pre-discounted level of €2,135-2,163 FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe).
