Asian PX producers nominated Nov ACP at $1,630-1,680/tonne CFR Asia

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Major Asian paraxylene (PX) producers have nominated their November Asian Contract Price (ACP) at $1,630/tonne (€1,255/tonne) CFR (cost & freight) Asia, $1,650/tonne CFR Asia and $1,680/tonne CFR Asia respectively, $140-190/tonne higher than the October ACP settlement.

A Japanese PX producer, Idemitsu Kosan, nominated $1,650/tonne CFR Asia in the morning while a separate Japanese major JX Nippon & Energy nominated $1,630/tonne CFR Asia in the afternoon.

The South Korean PX producer S-Oil nominated $1,650/tonne CFR Asia towards the end of the day, end-users said.

ExxonMobil earlier on announced its November PX ACP nomination at $1,680/tonne CFR Asia, according to its customers.
