SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Sinopec SABIC Tianjin Petrochemical restarted its 300,000 tonne/year linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) and 300,000 tonne/year high density polyethylene (HDPE) plants at ?xml:namespace>
The units were shut on 15 October because of a technical issue with a compressor at its 1m tonne/year naphtha cracker.
The supply of PE and PP will increase after the restart, and it may affect the PE and PP prices to some extent if demand does not improve, according to market sources.
