SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwanese refiner Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPCC) awarded a tender offering 300,000 barrels of jet-kerosene for loading on 23-27 November to PetroChina at a much weaker premium, a source from FPCC said on Wednesday.
FPCC awarded the tender, which closed on 23 October, at Singapore market quotes plus 35-40 cents/bbl FOB (free on board) Mailiao, the source added.
Previously, FPCC awarded a tender offering 300,000 bbl of jet-kerosene for loading on 14-18 November, which closed on 16 October, to Thailand’s PTT at Singapore market quotes plus 81 cents/bbl FOB Mailiao, the source said.
Premiums for jet kerosene declined amid an increase in offers from traders and South Korean refiners following a recent increase in buying interest particularly from China.
