China’s Sinopec Changling to shut PP plant for 20-day maintenance

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sinopec Changling Co is planning to shut down its 100,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant at Yueyang in Hunan province for routine maintenance from 28 October, a company source said on Friday.

The shutdown will last 20 days, during which period the company will continue supplying to customers using its inventories, the source said.

The company is a subsidiary of state-owned petrochemical firm Sinopec.
