SINGAPORE ICIS)--Sinopec subsidiary Zhanjiang Dongxing Petrochemical is running its 140,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant at Zhanjiang in Guangdong province at 97% capacity after it was restarted on 26 October, a company source said on Friday.

The Chinese producer restarted the PP plant after it cleared environmental checks, the source added.

Production at the PP plant was halted on 27 September, because of pollution concerns.
