SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) imports rose by 5% month on month in September because of the lower imported prices compared with domestic prices, a trader said on Monday.
China imported 152,889 tonnes of ABS in September, an increase of 7,197 tonnes from August, according to data from China Customs.
The average ABS import prices in September were at $2,149/tonne (€1,655/tonne) CFR (cost & freight) China, up by $10/tonne from August, according to the data.
