SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jiangsu Yangnong Kumho Chemical is offering cargoes for liquid epoxy resins (LER) after restarting its 100,000 tonne/year epoxy resin plant at Yangzhou city in Jiangsu province, a company source said on Tuesday.

The plant was shut on 3 October for scheduled maintenance and operations resumed on 20 October, the source said, adding that it is producing only LER at the moment. However, the plant’s operating rate is not immediately available.

The company halted its offers for LER during the maintenance period to reserve its inventories for supplying to customers based on previously concluded deals, the source said.

Jiangsu Yangnong Kumho Chemical, located in Jiangsu province, is among the top five China-based epoxy resin producers in terms of production capacity, according to market players.
