SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Beifang Petroleum & Chemical plans to start up a 1m cubic metre (cbm)/day gas liquefaction plant at Ordos in Inner Mongolia in 2014, a company source said on Tuesday.
The company also plans to build the project’s second phase, which will have the same capacity, at the same site, the source said without providing further details.
Natural gas will be supplied mainly from Sinopec’s Daniudi gas field in the ?xml:namespace>
Target markets for the liquefied natural gas (LNG) output from the plant are not yet known as the project is still in the preliminary stage, according to the source.
Shaanxi-based Beifang Petroleum & Chemical is largely engaged in the production and processing of crude oil and petroleum products as well as storage, transportation and distribution of refined oil products.
