SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Kumho P&B Chemicals restarted its No 2 and No 3 bisphenol A (BPA) lines in Yeosu on 25-26 October, few days earlier than originally planned, a company source said on Tuesday.

The 130,000 tonne/year No 2 line and the 150,000 tonne/year No 3 line were shut in early October and have resumed production a few days earlier to fulfil domestic contract obligations, he added.

The company’s No 1 BPA line has been shut indefinitely since early 2009.
