LONDON (ICIS)--An initial ethylene contract price for November has been agreed down by €15/tonne at €1,275/tonne ($1,635/tonne), a large consumer said on Tuesday, reflecting soft market fundamentals.

The contract has so far been confirmed by the large consumer and a major olefins producer. Confirmation is pending from two other large non-integrated consumers and a second major producer

The contract, which was agreed on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis, was between the consumer and a major producer.
