SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Korea Engineering Plastics (KEP) has completed a three-week turnaround at its 105,000 tonne/year polyoxymethylene (POM) or polyacetal plant in Ulsan, a company source said on Wednesday.

The plant was restarted late last week, said the source, but he declined to disclose the current run rate of the plant.

POM has applications in automotive, electric and electronic parts.

KEP is a joint venture between US-based Celanese and Japan's Mitsubishi Gas Chemical and Mitsubishi Corp.
