SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Polystyrene producers in Pakistan have rolled over their October domestic list prices for November, citing firm prices of feedstock styrene monomer (SM), market sources said on Friday.
For general purpose PS (GPPS) and high impact PS (HIPS), list prices were kept at Pakistan rupees (PRs) 185/kg and at PRs200/kg, respectively, for November, they said.
At import parity, the domestic GPPS list price is $1,750-1,770/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Pakistan; and $1,950-1,970/tonne CFR Pakistan for HIPS, the source said.
Demand for PS is currently seasonally weak before the onset of the winter season, and picks up in December, particularly from the downstream refrigerator manufacturing sectors and stays upbeat until August.
