NOON SNAPSHOT – Europe Markets Summary

LONDON (ICIS) – Here is Friday’s midday European oil and chemical market summary from ICIS.

CRUDE: December WTI: $86.36/bbl, down 73 cents/bbl. December BRENT: $107.90/bbl, down 27 cents/bbl
Crude values fell on weak European manufacturing data, which supported concerns over oil demand.

NAPHTHA: $952.50-954.50/tonne, down $3/tonne
The cargo range edged down from Thursday afternoon on the back of lower crude oil prices. December swaps were assessed at $917-919/tonne.

BENZENE: $1,340-1,360/tonne, down $5-10/tonne
November edged down this morning following deals at $1,340-1,350/tonne late yesterday, although the first half of the month traded as high as $1,360/tonne. Bids were at $1,340/tonne this morning with no firm offers. December was valued at $1,320-1,360/tonne.

STYRENE: $1,525-1,550/tonne, up $10/tonne on the sell side
November was offered slightly higher this morning but there were no firm corresponding bids. December was valued at $1,525-1,550/tonne.
