Phillips 66 New Jersey terminal open, refinery remains shut

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Phillips 66’s Linden terminal in New Jersey is open to supply customers on a limited basis after being shut for Hurricane Sandy, the company said on Friday.

The terminal is providing fuel only to local emergency response agencies at this time, the company said.

The company said it st is working on alternative arrangements to continue supplying the Linden terminal until the Bayway refinery in New Jersey resumes normal operations. The refinery remains shut down while damages are assessed.

  “A decision regarding when the refinery will be able to resume crude oil processing operations will be made once all assessments are complete,” the company said.

The Riverhead terminal on Long Island has resumed operations. The Tremley Point, New Jersey, terminal remains shut down at this time.
