LONDON (ICIS)--The Czech Republic's chemical and chemical products output grew 0.5% year on year in September, making it the best performing industrial sector, the Czech Statistical Office (CZSO) said on Tuesday.
Overall industrial production fell 7.1%, though it was only down 2.4% on a working days adjusted (WDA) comparison — September of this year was two working days shorter than September of last year in the ?xml:namespace>
Other year-on-year figures included a 0.4% fall in rubber and plastic products production and a 2.4% contraction in the manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, the CZSO said.
Textiles production and furniture production edged down 0.1% and 0.2%, respectively, it added.
