HOUSTON (ICIS)--BP has begun start-up activities on the ultracracker at its Texas City refinery in Texas, a notice with state regulators said on Tuesday.
The restart activities at the 475,000 bbl/day refinery would take place until 9 November, according to the filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
The ultracracker experienced issues on 4 November that caused the unit to depressure to the flare system.
