HOUSTON (ICIS)--US propylene inventories rose by 1.4% during the week ended on 2 November in their first increase in two months, data from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) showed on Wednesday.
US propylene inventories were at 4.211m bbl last week, up from 4.152m bbl a week earlier.
The increase reported by the EIA came after nine consecutive weekly drops.
US refineries operated at 85.4% of capacity last week, down from 87.7% in the previous week, according to government figures.
Refinery-grade propylene (RGP) for November was bid at 50 cents/lb ($1,102/tonne, €860/tonne) on Wednesday, flat with a deal done earlier in the week.
