SHANGHAI (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>China’s Shanghai SECCO Petrochemical plans to shut its 300,000 tonne/year linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) unit in Shanghai on 18 November for around 10 days of maintenance, local distributors said on Thursday.
The supply of LLDPE in the local market may decrease during the maintenance as the company is a major producer of LLDPE in eastern China, local distributors added.
Officials from Shanghai SECCO were not immediately available to comment on the shutdown.By: Lizzie Yu
