SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Daesan MMA (DMMA) plans to shut its 90,000 tonne/year methyl methacrylate (MMA) plant in Yeosu on 21 November for scheduled maintenance, a company source said on Friday.
The plant is expected to remain off line until 7 December, the source said.
DMMA is currently running the plant at full capacity because of low inventory levels, the source said.
The company is a joint venture between Japan’s Mitsubishi Rayon Co (MRC) and South Korea’s Honam Petrochemical.
