Correction: In the ICIS story headlined "Indonesia's Polyprima eyes PTA unit restart in Q1-Q2 2013" dated 9 November 2012, please read in the final paragraph ...polyester plant at Purwakarta... instead of ...polyester plant at the same site.... A corrected story follows.

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indonesia’s Polyprima plans to restart its 500,000 tonne/year purified terephthalic acid (PTA) unit at Cilegon in Jawa at the end of the first quarter or in early second quarter in 2013, a source from shareholder Indorama Ventures said on Friday.

The restartwill be put off by over one year as Indorama has been conducting plant modification at the unit, the source said.

Indorama Ventures acquired a 50% share in Polyprima in 2011.

Before that, the PTA plant had been kept idle since October 2007 because of financial problems.

Part of the PTA output will be fed into a new downstream 300,000 tonne/year polyester plant at Purwakarta, which is under construction, the source said.
