LONDON (ICIS)--Europe nylon 6,6 November contract prices have finalised at a rollover from October, buyers and sellers said on Tuesday, because of unchanged fundamentals.
Although demand remains weak, margins are too weak to further lower prices, sources on both sides of the market said.
“On [nylon] 6,6 [we agreed] a rollover as we've reached the bottom, no room to manoeuvre on going down.,” a nylon 6,6 buyer said.
The majority of players predicted that prices have now bottomed out.
Europe nylon 6,6 (or polyamide 6,6) November virgin polymer prices finalised at €2.70-2.78/kg FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe).
($1 = €0.79)
