HOUSTON (ICIS)--US-based raw material supplier Afton Trading announced on Tuesday that it has changed its name to ATI Companies to better reflect its growth in the chemical distribution, manufacturing and logistics services sectors.
The newly renamed company, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, encompasses:
- ATI Chemical Distribution, a global provider for chemical ingredients for food, personal care, fertilizer and industrial applications;
- ATI Chemical Manufacturing, which provides liquid and dry blending processing services for fertilizer and industrial applications; and
- ATI Freight Plus, which supplies third-party logistics services, including over-the-road, intermodal, ocean freight, special handing and warehousing operations.
The change in name does not involve a change in ownership, the company said.
