SINGAPORE (ICIS)--LyondellBasell said in a statement on Wednesday that it will restart its low density polyethylene (LDPE) line – which has been off line since January this year – in ?xml:namespace>
The start-up of the LDPE line, which is used to produce DPE grades for healthcare applications, will boost LyondellBasell’s ability to continue supplying to “this important market”, the Rotterdam-based chemical company said in the statement.
Bob Patel, senior vice-president of LyondellBasell's Olefins and Polyolefins sectors for Europe, Asia and international, added that the manufacturer’s new sales organisation will “better serve our customers and help them to optimise their supply chain through our higher production capability”.
