LONDON (ICIS)--The European monoethylene glycol (MEG) November contract pirce is now fully confirmed at €1,070/tonne ($1,354/tonne), a decrease of €25/tonne from October, two customers said on Wednesday.
"We confirm November MEG [European contract price] first settlement yesterday at €1,070/tonne," one of them wrote in an email.
The second customer said it had followed with a second producer.
The settlement was concluded on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
This is the latest in a long line of difficult contract discussions, which have led to delayed settlements.
