LONDON (ICIS)--One of Proviron’s four reactors at its phthalic anhydride (PA) operations at Ostend in ?xml:namespace>
The reactor was brought down last week and it is expected to be off line for around eight to nine days in total.
After this, full maintenance work will be undertaken on all four reactors, which will lead to a complete shutdown of Proviron's PA operations at the site. This turnaround is scheduled to last for around 10 days.
The nameplate capacity at the Belgian site is rated at around 105,000 tonnes/year, according to the ICIS plants and projects database.
