China’s Yantai Wanhua restarts Yantai MDI plant

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Yantai Wanhua Polyurethanes has restarted its 200,000 tonne/year methyl di-p-phenylene isocyanate (MDI) plant at Yantai in Shandong province, the company said in a statement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange on Thursday.

The plant was shut on 13 October for a month of scheduled maintenance, a company source said.

Yantai Wanhua also has a 900,000 tonne/year plant at Ningbo that consists of two lines.
