SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s SK Zhenbang Chemicals restarted its 150,000 tonne/year polyester line at Ningbo in Zhejiang province on 15 November, a company source said on Thursday.

The line, which mainly produces polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle chips, was shut on 1 October for an energy saving renovation, the source added.

The line is expected to produce on-spec product by 18 November and the operating rate will gradually be ramped up to full capacity, the source said.
